England/Ireland Vacation 2007
We had a wonderful and exciting trip to England and Ireland. Our first stop was Bromley England; we really enjoyed our visit with Ken and Jacqui (See Photo).
They took us to Greenwich, Rye, Hever Castle and Pluckley the most haunted village in England. When we returned home we had a letter waiting for us from them, Ken had written us a wonderful rhyme.
We were then off to Ireland to do some ghost hunting and visit with Anne's family (See Photo). Our journey took us to Ross castle, Dingle Bay, Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle and Ireland's beautiful countryside.
We did an investigation in Limerick Ireland at a restaurant called "The Bank." The bathrooms used to be the old bank vaults and we were able to get a few EVP's.
The next part of our journey took us to Bath England; we stayed in a wonderful bed and breakfast called Marlborough House (http://www.marlborough-house.net/ Peter, the owner, was so kind and helpful to us, they also make a breakfast fit for a king. The house was built in 1867 and we had activity in the room on our first night, we were awakened by a women crying in our room.
While in Bath we visited the Roman Baths, the Abbey, and took a bus to Stonehenge. We also went on a ghost walk through Bath at night; Marie was our tour guide.
On our last day we hopped on the tube and took the train to visit London. We took a tour bus through London to see all the sites, stopping at Buckingham palace, Big Ben and rode the London Eye.
While we were in our hotel in London we went down to the restaurant for dinner. Anne ordered a glass of wine and we watched the glass slide across the table. The poor guy dinning next to us couldn't believe what he had witnessed.
We had a great time traveling through England and Ireland; it was a trip of a lifetime.
Thank you Ken and Jacqui for showing us a wonderful time and we are looking forward to your trip to Arizona next year. We would also like to thank Anne's family for showing us all the wonderful sites and for their great hospitality.
